AudioStoriesClick was created by Bing Yang and Michael Eads in December 2008. Bing is from Beijing, China and Michael is from Seattle, Washington. Growing up in their respective cities, they were influenced by stories, music and magic of radio.
For Michael growing up in the seventies meant experiencing some of the most influential music of all time. Every song created a memory, a place in time. However, some of his best memories were from listening to old radio broadcast at night while riding with his mother in the family car. Romance, suspense, drama and mystery were presented to him exactly the way his mother experienced it when she was young. Listening to these stories with his mother created an indelible impression in Michael’s mind.
Growing up in Beijing, China, the daughter of two prominent journalists, Bing already had “news” in her blood. This, combined with her passion for ancient Chinese stories has enabled her to express a cultural side of storytelling found nowhere else. Her knowledge of Chinese and American history is an added benefit. Bing also shares the same passion for romance stories as almost all women do.
